Biography

Koren U. Bowman is a real estate industry leader with a remarkable career trajectory that began in humble beginnings. Originally from Newark, New Jersey, and a graduate of Virginia State University with a degree in Economics and Finance, she now has a seat at one of the world's most prestigious real estate brands as the Founder and CEO of KU Real Estate Group of Keller Williams, serving the Triangle and Greater Charlotte areas of North Carolina.

In 2021, Koren made history as the first African-American to achieve the Owner and Operating Principal role of Keller Williams Premier in the Carolina region and the seventh nationally. With over a decade of experience, she ranks in the top 2% of her local market and has established herself as an expert in residential and commercial real estate. She holds multiple designations, including Certified Luxury Specialist, Certified International Property Specialist, and founding member of the Keller Williams Sports and Entertainment Division.

 

In addition to her impressive accomplishments in real estate, Koren is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the real estate industry. She serves as Keller Williams National and Regional Social Equity Leader and Ambassador and chaired the 2021 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors. Among her work, Koren created the Diversity Alliance Pledge, which promotes a comprehensive approach to fostering diversity, access, equity, and inclusion in real estate and has been adopted by multiple associations state-wide and nationally.

Koren is also recognized as a master educator and business coach, tirelessly impacting the real estate industry. She advocates for building wealth through homeownership and, alongside her husband Marcus, has built a multi-million dollar real estate investment company. They are passionate about using their companies to shape the real estate community by inspiring and empowering individuals and local businesses through wealth-building initiatives.

Koren is deeply committed to community service, engagement, and ministry outside her professional pursuits. She founded the non-profit Christ Saves Hearts Foundation, Inc., which focuses on heart health awareness and provides scholarships to minority students and families in need. She also serves beside her husband and Pastor, Marcus Bowman, through Bowman Ministries, spreading God's love and word. Koren has partnered with organizations such as Citizens Schools, The Boys and Girls Club, Urban Ministries, Junior Achievement, American Heart Association, KW Cares, KW Kids Can, Woman Boss Foundation, and others to impact her community inside and outside of her office doors.

Koren is a dedicated wife and mother, driven by her desire to create a life by design for her two children and leave a legacy of wealth and success for future generations.
